Angels’ Share by Kilian is a deeply personal creation inspired by founder Kilian Hennessy’s eighth-generation connection to the Hennessy cognac-making family.

Drawing directly from the world of fine spirits, the fragrance captures the atmosphere of cognac ageing in oak barrels, even incorporating cognac essence that gives the composition its naturally caramel-toned colour. Its name refers to the “angels’ share”, the portion of spirit that naturally evaporates from the barrel during the ageing process.

Rich, warm and indulgent, Angels’ Share transforms this cognac heritage into a gourmand fragrance built around liquor, oak, spice and smooth confectionery notes.

What Does Kilian Angels’ Share Smell Like?

Angels’ Share opens with a rich dose of cognac, immediately creating a warm, boozy impression with naturally fruity and caramel-like facets.

Cinnamon brings aromatic spice through the heart, joined by creamy tonka bean and oak. The oak reinforces the impression of cognac ageing in wooden barrels, while the tonka softens the composition with warm, subtly sweet depth.

The dry down becomes distinctly gourmand as praline and vanilla emerge alongside smooth sandalwood. Sweet, creamy and woody, the final impression is reminiscent of caramelised nuts, vanilla and warm spice lingering over cognac-soaked oak.
