Cedrus by Chloé is a woody musky Eau de Parfum from the Atelier des Fleurs collection, a fragrance line inspired by the personal memories of renowned perfumers and the expressive possibilities of flowers, leaves and woods.

Created by perfumer Quentin Bisch, Cedrus has its roots in a childhood memory of his parents. His father once presented his mother with an unusual, playful lover's gift: a simple bouquet of branches. That tender gesture became the inspiration for a fragrance exploring the softer, more intimate character of woods.

Like the other fragrances in Atelier des Fleurs, Cedrus has its own distinctive signature while being designed to harmonise with other scents in the collection, allowing different compositions to be layered together.

What Does Cedrus Smell Like?

Cedrus has a smoky, woody character that moves between tenderness and warmth. Dry woody notes form the central structure, accompanied by earthy vetiver and moss for a natural, slightly forest-like depth.

Cardamom introduces a gentle aromatic spice, adding brightness and contrast without overwhelming the woods.

Sandalwood brings a smoother, creamier texture, while soft musky nuances give the fragrance its warm, skin-like finish. The result is an understated woody musk that feels dry, softly smoky and comforting rather than dense or heavy.
