Vanilla Planifolia by Chloé is a floral vanilla Eau de Parfum from the Atelier des Fleurs collection, a line built around the personal memories and olfactory inspirations of individual perfumers.

Created by Quentin Bisch, Vanilla Planifolia traces its origins to an early discovery in his career. As a budding perfumer, Bisch learned that vanilla comes from the fruit of a remarkable orchid whose flower has an almost imperceptible natural scent. Fascinated by this contrast, he held onto the idea of imagining what the elusive vanilla orchid itself might smell like.

Vanilla Planifolia is his interpretation of that imagined flower, approaching vanilla through its botanical origins rather than simply its familiar gourmand sweetness. Like the other Atelier des Fleurs creations, it can be worn alone or layered with fragrances from the collection.

What Does Vanilla Planifolia Smell Like?

Vanilla Planifolia presents vanilla with a distinctly floral character. Vanilla orchid creates a soft, fleshy floral impression, revealing a more petal-like side of an ingredient usually associated with sweetness.

Gentle spices run through the composition, bringing warmth and definition to the floral vanilla without making it overtly gourmand.
