Fragrance Overview

Spice- Personal is a soft spicy gourmand and skin scent inspired by the quiet ritual of preparing chai, interpreted through warm spices, creamy sweetness and skin-like musks.

Created by perfumer Christelle Laprade, it is the most intimate expression of Commodity’s Spice fragrance. Rather than amplifying the spices, the composition diffuses saffron, allspice and cinnamon sugar through a veil of musks, creating a warm cloud that stays close to the wearer.

Condensed milk adds a creamy gourmand texture, while Helvetolide and Ambroxan blur the edges of the fragrance into the skin. The result is a softer, quieter take on chai, designed to feel warm, comforting and personal rather than intensely spiced.

What Does Spice- Personal Smell Like?

Spice- Personal opens with warm, suede-like saffron and aromatic allspice, creating a gentle spiced warmth rather than a sharp or fiery opening.

Cinnamon sugar emerges alongside condensed milk through the heart, giving the fragrance a creamy chai-like sweetness. The combination feels softly gourmand, with the milk accord smoothing the spices into a warm, comforting haze.

The dry down becomes increasingly skin-like as Helvetolide brings a soft, fruity muskiness and Ambroxan adds warm, diffusive depth. The result is a creamy spiced skin scent with saffron, cinnamon sugar and milky chai nuances wrapped in soft musk.

When to Wear Spice- Personal

Spice- Personal is designed for intimate, close-to-the-skin wear. Its combination of creamy chai spices and soft musk makes it particularly appealing for relaxed days, work, cosy evenings or whenever a louder gourmand would feel like too much.

It works especially well through autumn and winter, although its airy musky structure makes it considerably lighter and more versatile than a dense spicy gourmand.
