What Does Velvet Violet Smell Like?

Velvet Violet opens with fresh violet leaf sharpened by pink pepper. The violet feels green and slightly woody rather than sweet or powdery, while clary sage adds an aromatic, herbaceous edge.

As it develops, toasted sesame absolute becomes more prominent, bringing warm, nutty and gently savoury facets. Roasted barley deepens this effect with a grain-like warmth, giving the fragrance a distinctive toasted texture.

In the dry down, grilled tonka beans add a smooth, lightly sweet warmth, while benzoin introduces soft resinous richness. Vetiver provides a dry, earthy woody finish that balances the gourmand elements. The result is a green violet fragrance with toasted sesame, warm grains and a softly glowing woody base.
