Building on the legacy of Pacific Rock Moss, Pacific Rock Swell takes its distinctive oceanic freshness into deeper and more textured territory. Created by perfumer Leonardo Lucheze of Takasago under the artistic direction of Dimitri Weber, the fragrance is presented at a 30% concentration.

Inspired by the moment before an ocean swell breaks, the composition contrasts fresh aquatic energy and citrus with seaweed, mineral textures and sun-warmed woods. The result is a more intense interpretation of the Pacific Collection’s connection to the Australian coastline.

What Does Goldfield & Banks Pacific Rock Swell Smell Like?

Pacific Rock Swell opens with fresh bergamot, aromatic cardamom and clary sage, creating a crisp, invigorating introduction with citrus and herbal facets.

Seaweed brings a darker marine character to the heart, surrounded by clary sage absolute, geranium and mimosa. Fir balsam and labdanum add resinous depth, gradually shifting the fragrance away from its bright opening towards something deeper and more textural.

The dry down combines Madagascan ylang-ylang with earthy patchouli, Australian sandalwood and ambergris. Smooth woods and mineral warmth linger beneath the marine character, creating a fragrance that feels salty, woody and expansive rather than conventionally aquatic.
