What Does La Favorite Smell Like?

La Favorite opens with Queen of the Night, a radiant white floral note that gives the fragrance a luminous, sensual introduction.

At the heart, benzoin becomes the defining feature. Gaultier uses two distinctive varieties: one rare, syrupy and naturally vanilla-like, and another described as “vintage” benzoin with the richness and complexity of a grand cru. Together they create a warm, balsamic sweetness that contrasts with the brightness of the floral opening.

Tonka bean settles into the base, adding smooth, sensual warmth and a softly gourmand quality. The result is a rich Floral Amber balancing radiant white flowers with syrupy benzoin and creamy tonka bean.
