Matcha Swirl is a creamy matcha gourmand from Lattafa’s Give Me Gourmand collection, combining strawberry, matcha cake, sugar glaze and white chocolate in an unapologetically dessert-inspired composition.

The fragrance plays with the contrast between rich confectionery sweetness and the subtly green, nutty character of matcha. Strawberry adds a playful fruity accent, while tonka bean, vanilla cream and white chocolate create the soft, indulgent texture at the heart of its gourmand character.

Sweet and comforting but given an aromatic edge by matcha, Matcha Swirl captures the idea of a matcha dessert transformed into fragrance.

What Does Matcha Swirl Smell Like?

Matcha Swirl opens with strawberry flakes, bringing a bright, candied berry sweetness before the creamy gourmand notes begin to emerge.

The heart centres on matcha cake, with a softly green and slightly nutty tea character wrapped in warm tonka bean and glossy sugar glaze. The matcha provides contrast against the sweetness, keeping the fragrance from becoming purely sugary.

Vanilla cream and white chocolate melt together in the dry down, creating a smooth, milky sweetness, while ambroxan adds warmth and diffusion. The result is an edible matcha cake fragrance layered with strawberry, glazed sugar, creamy vanilla and white chocolate.
