Paper Musk is a soft floral musk inspired by the purity of white paper and Montblanc’s heritage of writing, translating the feeling of a pristine page into a clean, contemporary fragrance.

Created by perfumers Nathalie Lorson and Ilias Ermenidis, the composition brings together orange blossom, white musk and Cashmeran. Although musk provides the conceptual foundation, Paper Musk has a noticeably floral presence, with orange blossom taking the lead before gradually softening into the warmer, more enveloping base.

Cashmeran adds a smooth woody texture as the fragrance settles, creating a scent that moves from luminous white florals into something softer, cosier and closer to the skin.

What Does Paper Musk Smell Like?

Paper Musk begins with clean white musks before orange blossom quickly becomes the most noticeable part of the fragrance. It feels bright, fresh and distinctly floral, giving the opening considerably more character than the name might suggest.

As the orange blossom begins to soften, the musk becomes smoother and more enveloping. The fragrance loses some of its initial floral brightness and takes on a gentler, cosier texture.

Cashmeran emerges through the dry down with soft woody warmth, blending into the musk and creating a comfortable skin-like finish. Overall, Paper Musk moves from orange blossom-forward freshness into a soft, warm combination of white musk and smooth woods.
