Dead Air by Oddity captures the haunting stillness of a stage after the curtain falls - velvet darkness, lingering perfume, the echo of applause fading into silence. It opens with the cool bite of sea salt and green violet leaves carried by a night breeze, before descending into narcisse and resin, conjuring the scent of wet stone, fallen leaves, and the metallic hush of underwater depths. Dates and burnt sugar lend a ghostly sweetness that binds the composition, while oakwood, vetiver, and patchouli anchor it in shadowy warmth.
