Babylon by Prada is a 2026 reimagining of the original Mirages Babylon from 2018, revisiting its vision of an ancient city through a contemporary ambery woody composition.

Inspired by the image of a palace rising from crystalline desert sands, Babylon plays with the idea of a mirage, where something ancient and monumental appears almost futuristic against the horizon. The legendary city becomes a meeting point between antiquity and modernism, imagined by Prada as a shimmering structure beneath a neon sky.

At the centre of the fragrance is a creamy sandalwood accord, framed by resinous cistus labdanum and glowing amber. The deliberately concise composition gives these materials space to create a smooth, enveloping interpretation of desert warmth.

What Does Prada Babylon Smell Like?

Babylon opens with labdanum, bringing a warm, resinous and subtly leathery amber character that immediately gives the fragrance depth.

Creamy sandalwood emerges at the heart, softening the resin with its smooth, milky woodiness. It forms the central structure of the fragrance and creates the impression of warm wood against sun-heated sand.
