Fragrance Overview

Moon Rice is a soft, creamy rice fragrance inspired by the comforting ritual of drinking warm milk before bed. Created around steamed rice, lavender and milk, it has a warm, cocooning character designed to evoke a cosy daydream.

The fragrance was developed in partnership with Givaudan using its DreamScentz™ approach, with the composition centred on the sensory transition from wakefulness to rest. Rather than smelling overtly sweet or dessert-like, Moon Rice combines its lactonic gourmand elements with aromatic lavender, cardamom and bergamot.

Steamed rice forms the distinctive heart of the fragrance, surrounded by heavy cream, amber and sueded woods for a soft, warm finish.

What Does Moon Rice Smell Like?

Moon Rice opens with cardamom milk, lavender and bergamot. The cardamom gives the creamy milk accord a gentle aromatic warmth, while lavender adds a clean, calming herbal quality and bergamot provides a touch of citrus brightness.

The heart introduces steamed rice, creating a warm, softly starchy and subtly sweet aroma reminiscent of freshly cooked rice. Angelica seed adds an earthy, aromatic dimension while jasmine brings a delicate floral softness.

As it settles, heavy cream intensifies the milky texture while amber adds warmth. Sueded woods give the base a smooth, tactile quality, leaving a soft and enveloping trail of steamed rice, warm milk, lavender and creamy woods.
