Ombré Leather Reserve by Tom Ford is a woody leather fragrance inspired by the wild, elevated landscape of the high desert and the aromatic vegetation of the Chisos Mountains.

The fragrance introduces Silver Juniper ScentTrek™, captured exclusively for Tom Ford using headspace technology. The material traces the changing character of silver juniper as it is warmed by sunlight, moving from aromatic freshness towards deeper woody facets with subtle myrrh undertones.

Cypress, pinyon wood and sandalwood expand the landscape with resinous, pine-like woods, while violet leaf and white moss bring contrasting green freshness. At the centre, the signature leather character becomes a deep black leather accord, creating a richer interpretation of the desert landscape through woods, resins, greenery and leather.

What Does Tom Ford Ombré Leather Reserve Smell Like?

Ombré Leather Reserve opens with aromatic silver juniper and fresh cypress, sharpened by spicy black pepper. The juniper has a silvery-green freshness that gradually reveals a deeper woody quality, while violet leaf adds a crisp green floral character.

As the fragrance develops, resinous pinyon wood brings the warmth of sun-heated pine, complemented by the mineral-green character of white moss.

The base becomes deeper and smoother as black leather meets sandalwood, creating a rich woody leather finish. The result is an aromatic leather fragrance where fresh juniper and green notes gradually descend into resinous woods, creamy sandalwood and dark leather.
