Moon Carnival by Vilhelm Parfumerie is inspired by a fantastical love story about a dancer with golden skin and an enduring love for tuberose.

In the story, her admirer travels the world gathering every tuberose he can find until he has enough flowers to fill the moon. For seven days and seven nights, their intoxicating fragrance is scattered from the moon across the universe, transforming a romantic gesture into something celestial.

Dreamlike and extravagant, Moon Carnival translates this tale into a fragrance centred on one of perfumery’s most opulent white flowers, surrounded by tropical fruit, creamy florals and confectionery sweetness.

What Does Moon Carnival Smell Like?

Moon Carnival opens with juicy passionfruit, bright bergamot and pink freesia. The passionfruit brings a distinctly tropical tartness, while bergamot adds citrus freshness and freesia introduces a light floral quality.

As it develops, tuberose takes centre stage with its rich, creamy and intoxicating white floral character. Gardenia amplifies the lush creaminess, while orchid adds another layer of smooth floral sweetness.

In the dry down, marshmallow softens the florals with a fluffy, sugary quality. Vanilla adds creamy sweetness while tonka bean brings warm, gently nutty depth. The result is an opulent floral gourmand with tropical fruit, heady white flowers and a soft marshmallow-vanilla finish.
