Blouse Extrait de Parfum 68 Rose by Yves Saint Laurent is a green floral fragrance from Le Vestiaire des Parfums, created by perfumer Quentin Bisch and inspired by one of Yves Saint Laurent's most provocative designs: the see-through blouse.

Introduced in the Spring-Summer 1968 collection and worn on the runway by Danielle Sauvajeon, the transparent blouse transformed the simplicity of a traditional farmer's smock into a statement of liberation. Its diaphanous construction revealed rather than concealed the body, challenging established ideas of femininity at the height of the sexual revolution.

The Extrait translates that sense of exposure through a rose stripped back to its petals, stem and vegetal character. At its centre is Rose Centifolia absolute macerated with carefully selected French oakwood for four weeks, allowing the flower to absorb the wood's tannic, woody and softly vanillic facets while retaining its delicate floral identity.

Blouse Extrait de Parfum 68 Rose opens crisp and green, with a vegetal accord capturing the freshness of rose stems alongside vibrant Italian bergamot. Incense introduces a subtle resinous, balsamic undertone.

At the heart is a quartet of roses. Rose absolute provides richness, Damascena rose essence adds spice, Ourika rose brings an airy, dewy quality, while oak-macerated Rose Centifolia develops warmer, more textured woody facets. Pallida iris butter adds a refined violet-like powderiness, while ambrette seed absolute and carrot seed contribute musky, earthy and vegetal nuances.

The dry down remains textured rather than overtly sweet. Angelica seed extends the green character into a base of soft musk and expansive amber woods, leaving a warm, woody trail around the exposed rose.
